R’s financial predicament and mental decline Whit Casey is not happy at being strong armed to hire Mae who knows nothing about uarter horse racing to write for her racing magazine and dot com Still attraction grows between the two women until Mae’s investigation into. I had never read a D Jackson Leigh book until yesterday but I’m so glad that I finally did Initially hesitant to pick this up because I'm really just not a horse person I'm really happy that I was finally given the push needed to read 'Hold Me Forever' overly cheesy title though; the book isn't nearly as cheesy as the title implies Unfortunately romance books that have read like horse care manuals have led me astray from reading much of anything that even mentions horses in the about blurb Here instead the characters are well developed and likable and the storyline was enjoyable The plot drives the story and is not fluffed up with filler content that is not relevant to the story the author is telling This book proves that I really have to stop walking away from books just because there's a horse on the coverI will definitely read of this author's work
