The Arrival The Eslite Chronicles #1 Read & Download õ 4 Í Can Miranda save the human raceAn elegant sophisticated alien species on the verge of extinction has invaded Earth and confined an entire generation of young women after negotiating a treaty with the world’s governments Eager to help the aliens reproduce but frightAt Nidus the Eslite medical compound sixteen year old Miranda Mays endures callous scientific experiments in the Eslite’s uest for survivalWhen Miranda discovers the ultimate conseuences of her egg donations she organizes a rebellion enlisting fellow donors in her cause But soon she real. Note I was given this for review from the author and my opinions are all honestThe Arrival which is the first installment of the Eslites has a really interesting concept to it Miranda Mays is in her teens when her home town is invaded by what we'd call aliens They are Eslites With their race doomed and needing to produce offspring their invasion comes down to one premise Earth's womenSet a few years on we find out that young girls between fourteen and twenty five are reuired unless seen unfit to give three egg extractions to carry on the Estiles human race Any than three and they would be in danger They have signed and created laws and have well and truly been invaded not just on their planet but the girls have too In return they will give cures to diseases like cancerCM Dorpoto bought her story to life in a rather short time which I must say is impressive This is what I would consider to be a novellaa short story but please do not let that deter you It's not all jam packed and badly spaced and the story flows well within the short time it has to tell it You're able to conjure up the world with ease and as a young woman I have to say I did connect with the characters thoughts and feelings Would be horrid to be put in that situation The characters each show different strengths and weaknesses highlighting what it would be like if you got thousands of girls and forced them to give away eggs Some are afraid worried to fight back others rise above it some hide their feelings others take strength when they need it most They are becoming impowered young ladies ones that will fight for what they feel is rightThe other interesting thing that is added to this is what the outside opinion is of these girls They are almost seen as threatoning dirty turn your nose up at them because they are one of 'them' The prejudice against these girls and the Estiles was a even match If you're looking for a sci fi alien story I'd say give this a go There is a cliffhanger that will leave you gawping

Can Miranda save the human raceAn elegant sophisticated alien species on the verge of extinction has invaded Earth and confined an entire generation of young women after negotiating a treaty with the world’s governments Eager to help the aliens reproduce but frightened by her imprisonment. This book was book of the week for a book club I am in and the author was kind enough to gift me an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review which also included the preuel and that was cool and I will also review that one on goodreads so look for that I really enjoyed them bothA few of the others in the book club chose not to read this one because it was Sci fi and about Aliens now I'm not calling them out I just say that to bring up my opinion I enjoy Sci fi for the most part but I am also very picky about it I have been let down by a few books in this genre so I tend to tread carefully this book however was not one that let me down and I believe the main reason for that was because the main focus is not really the Aliens but about the adventure the main character Miranda embarked on and her determination to save not only girls on Nidus but so many others I feel like it had of a Dystopian feel than Sci fi and since I love Dystopian I was just fine with thatI am a big fan of a strong bad ass heroine and Miranda was one I became very interested in She was very strong and in my eyes she had many set backs yet she found a way to power through and bounce back a bitMays are leaders We never show weaknessI am rooting for things to work out for her I was from the start and with that insane ending I can not wait to find out I am very interested in what will happen in the next leg of her journey Bryce was okay for me I liked him but I did not love him he was sweet and he helped Miranda through a lot but I found him a little blah However I do believe he is essential and I am glad Miranda has him for support I just could not connect with him Now I want to talk about Miranda's Dad but not to much cause the jerk face does not deserve it I have heard of emotionally constipated but this guy takes the cake I hate himI must add that I love this beautiful cover It would have definitely drawn me in if I came across it and I like that in a coverI enjoyed many things about this book and I would like to continue the series and learn

The Arrival The Eslite Chronicles #1Izes the mysterious headmaster Dimas knows of her plot And there’s something about him that bothers Miranda though she can’t describe it The fate of humanity hangs in the balance so she can’t back down But will Dimas expose her defianceTeenYA Sci Fi with romantic elements Ages 12 and. First off I would like to thank the author for allowing me to read her book I was a beta reader on this book CM Doporto I don't know how you come up with these amazing stories but keep it upWow this book was amazing I read it in 45 hours I couldn't put it down I was captivated from page 1 No spoliers This is based on what the human race fears the most An invasion and our women being forced into breeding with another life formI loved how uniue each person in this book was Miranda is kinda crazy and ridiculously braveThe dad ugh I wanna smack himBut the Eslites were by far the most uniueDimas creepy to the core you don't know what his true motivations are He isn't necessarily bad but far from goodThe author creates a world that is eerily peace full at Nidus But dark with the knowledge of horrible things going onI don't know what is scarier the calm manner of the Eslites or the fact they wanna take over the worldI cant wait for the next book
