The Winter Witch Shadow Chronicles Book 1 'Wild places make wild people but only some have magic blood There are those with frozen hearts whose souls know only winter They would drive me from my home It will not do Really it will not' In her small Welsh town there is no one uite like Morgana She has not spoken a word out loud since she was a child and her silence as well as the magic she can't uite control makes her an oddity a magnet for rumour mystery and resentmen Gah I had hopes for this book given that the Witch's Daughter was tolerably decent but unless you just like to be depressed anxious and frankly bored don't bother with this one Nothing happened until 98% of the way through Just injustice heaped upon injustice wrapped in dread and covered with tedium Her tagline which appeared freuently toward the end It will not do Really it will not would have been far effective had these words preceded action in any way shape or form Pretty much just glad to be done with this
