This book is filled with so many twists and turns that I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and then add to that the plot had me going what if this really could happen and what that would mean for our society as a whole It’s pretty scary but I love when an author can bring that kind of emotion out of me and still have me thinking on it days after I am done I am definitely adding Adolphus to my must buy list 45 Bloody Fangs

The premise is interesting Doctors find what appears to be a genetic marker that predicts violent criminality Great In the hands of a skilled author this would be a great setupHamfisted writing poor research and bad math completely ruin it for me At one point an event is to occur on June 6th 9am Chicago time This is told to a person on the West Coast who is apparently knowledgeable of the Number of the Beast and the implication is that the date and time is 667 We never really explore the amount of false positives a 90% accurate test for evil would show and the conseuences of hasty actions on the part of government We are told that so many violent criminals have this variance but we are never shown how many people who have it don't commit crimes The supposedly brilliant scientists never run control studies and never seem to grasp how statistics actually workNever does the book solidly claim that there is any connection to the Beast Just some poorly constructed oddness about how the letter 'B' could be recalculated to be a '6'To the actual writing I find it bizarre how willing the author is to show several extremely violent crimes and rapes including involving children with no real connection to the story and yet he can't bring himself to have the characters say any cuss words stronger than 'Darn'I appreciate the effort the author went to to write this and I can see other people enjoyed the book But I'm afraid I can't recommend this book at all
