Diary of a MistressMy wife always says A man just don't stand a chanceWhen she first said this I was slow to speak and gave great thought to the statement she made because I was ready to debate her claim I was about to pick up the flag and march into battle with her over such a claim I pondered and pondered some then came to the conclusion she was right a man just don't stand a chance and this short novel shows just one aspect on how men don't stand a chance against the games a woman playsWomen know other women but she doesn't always sure of her man This tiny bit of doubt is all the other woman needs to spin her web and with that in mind Diary of a Mistress will take you on a journey no one should ever have to travelAuthor Miasha was born a Storyteller and man can she tell a story Diary of a Mistress was a damn good read although most the words was delivered to me from my Audible app which was narrated for 4 hours and 54 minutes long by Claudia Alick who done a wonderful jobThere wasn't many characters and the few the author used she used uite effectively Character development was excellent Subplots was and tension points was perfectly set in their proper places The hardcover book was well crafted with a clean font and solid pagesThe story is told from the mistress Angela's pov which glues you to your seat and set the wheels into motion of making this novel a page turner Angela is charmed by her instructor Carlos She befriends him and as time advances so does their relationship Angela wants to take their relationship to the next level which puts Carlos and his wife Monica marriage on a road confusion and distrust and understand why a man don't stand a chanceThis novel is a damn good read and do not think you would be disappointed with spending your money or your time I give this one 5 stars

STORY 375 4 starsPERFORMANCE 4 45 starsOVERALL 4 starsBecause it is uncommon for books to have an average rating as high as this one has I was skeptical wondering if I would agree with the average reader Despite being skeptical I was pleasantly surprised by this book it was such a fun book to listen to I listened to it on audiobook Based on the synopsis I was expecting an urban story with ho's schemers and skeezers I was way off Diary of a Mistress is a captivating and engrossing thriller You won't be reading about hood rats or people doing anything to get their next fix Diary of a Mistress is an extremely entertaining realistic story that will surprise the hit out of you I was very impressed with Miasha an author I hadn't read before There were a couple of odd words or phrases such as calling a judge master but otherwise this is extremely well written At 50% into the book Miasha threw in a curveball that literally caused me to gasp out loud I never saw it coming it blew me away This twist was like icing on an already great tasting cake After such a powerful story altering twist halfway through the book I wasn't overly impressed with the ending I think things could've been wrapped up a bit uicker although I can understand why Miasha didn't rush things possibly wanting to create and ending for the readers who crave a HEA As I previously stated I listened to Diary of a Mistress on audiobook Not only did I get to enjoy an awesome story but I also got to listen to a remarkable performance by a very skilled narrator She did a spectacular job narrating this book

Mann this book was the best book I've read so far this year and I've read 65 so far This book had me hooked from the first page all the way thru to the end It had so many twist and turns I was afraid to stop reading in case I missed something I was totally shocked when I found out the whole story was a lie made up by a crazy deranged woman who wanted a man who didn't want her Sometimes you have to be careful on who you tell all your business to Because it can always back fire to hunt you But Im glad everything worked out in the end This book had me thinking about it days after I finished reading it
