This graphic novel was really really good It made me think and feel but alsoit was horribly depressing because of the truth behind it While I will recommend it to many I'm not sure I'd want to reread it myselfThrough pictures and text Don Brown weaves together a portrait of the lives of the refugees in the Syrian refugee crisis He rarely spends than a page or two talking about one individual or a family or a group of friends but I think he follows the adage less is perfectly Somehow even if I only saw a snapshot I immediately connected to them And I was extremely frustrated by reading about the multiple countries who denied aid like I UNDERSTAND the motives but I wishI wishIt was eye opening and it definitely deserved the Teens Top Ten Nomination My Blog 📚 My Instagram 📚 My Twitter
